Born in Milan in 1985, Davide started making films as a student in 2004, including “Il ragazzo di sabbia” which screened at the 25th Turin Film Festival.

Since 2008, he has directed several documentaries including “Michelle” (Vienna Biennale 2008), “Xiao Pengke” (26th Turin Film Festival) and “Angeles City, Philippines” (Best Short Film at Corto In Bra 2010, Best Documentary at Sedicicorto International Film Festival, Best Director at Valdarno Cinema Fedic).

In 2018 he started a collaboration with the collective Mammaiuto, which members are some of the most talented comic artists working today in Italy, and the director Massimo Ali Mohammad with whom he made the short films "Another Path" and "Halfalogue".
